What it is
M8 Ventures backs product-led tech startups from Australia and New Zealand, from pre-seed onward. We're raising our next venture fund and in the meantime, we're sharing some of our best deals with syndicate members through our syndicate.
We spend our time finding and supporting founding teams building world-class products, and we stay close to the accelerator and incubator community to keep our pattern-matching sharp.
We don't invest in startups in the defence, mining or fossil fuel industries or in those that erode mental or physical health, create addiction, or rely on gambling or speculation — and every company we back commits to improving diversity across its board, leadership and team.
Who it suits
You don't need to be a professional investor. Many of our syndicate members are angel-curious people learning about how angel investing works, or new to it, who want to get in early and support the next generation of tech startups.

Aussie Angels requires a sophisticated investor certificate from your accountant. That shouldn't cost anything beyond the few minutes it takes to ask for one.
